Playing around with Faith today, trying some new things with my camera. :) Don't mind her eye...that child can't go a week without some kind of bruise or scratch on her face, I SWEAR!! LOL

Chunky man - Part 4
The day we've all been waiting for! LOL He's still off the charts, but he's only gained a little. Chandler man weighed in today at 18lbs 6 3/4oz and 27in. My "little big" man!
Shots today too...I made Justin go in this time...I think it's the first time with any of the kids that he's been there to have to hold them down. ABOUT TIME!! But, I was going nuts out there in the waiting room having to hear him scream! Ugh! Poor baby! He's sleeping now with a dose of Tylenol, so hopefully he'll do ok today.
That's all the news for today. :)

Yummy Kenny!!
In case you haven't noticed by my song...I LOVE me some Kenny Chesney!! Well, he come to town in concert on Wednesday and Thursday. We went Thursday and had AWESOME floor seats! Two years ago when he came I took my camera, and it got taken away, so I didn't want to have to deal with that again, and left it at home! DUMB!! I had my cell phone that takes pics, and these are the best ones I got! LOL One is of his BUTT!! and one of him on the jumbo-tron blowing kisses. They are hard to see, but not too bad for a camera phone pic. :)

Officially official....
HE'S NOT GOING!!!!!!!!! JUSTIN IS NOT GOING TO IRAQ!!!!!! Thank God! This just goes to show you how strong the power of prayer is! Monday morning, he called as soon as he knew I was up getting Falyn ready for school..."my orders were canceled" I never thought those were the words I always wanted to hear from him! Talk about saved by the bell...he was supposed to leave on the 23rd.
Falyn was excited to hear, and glad that he would be able to come to her games and her 6th birthday party! LOL It's so cute what is important to a 5 year old.
I had a hard time letting myself believe that it was true...afterall they've done this to me once already. So, I didn't let myself get too excited, as I was nervous that he'd come home on Tuesday and say nevermind. But, from everything I've heard, it's real, and he's really not going....I'm holding on til Sunday when he doesn't get on that plane.

Not too much to report...
So, not too much has really been going on these days. Just trying to spend as much time together as a family that we can. Justin leaves next Sunday, and I honestly think I am still in denial. I think about it, and we talk about it, and I get upset about it, but I really don't think that it's completely sunk in.
Falyn has been having a blast with t-ball. She loves it! Saturday morning, she had a game and my 16's had a game. It was so cute...her game was an hour before ours, and my whole team was sitting in the bleachers cheering my big girl on! She LOVED it!! Of course, she thought it was SO cool to have such a big cheering section just for her! Adorable!
I have some recent and not so recent pics of Mr. Chunkin. I know I need to show you his 3 months pics...he's SO rolly! I just love it! He's becoming very interactive and it's awesome! He smiles and coos, and has nice little "conversations" with me now, and I just eat it up. I get sad thinking that Justin will not get to enjoy the last baby to ever be in our house. :(
That's about it! Happy Easter!!

Seven Years
Yesterday we celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary. Justin took me to the Melting Pot. It was very nice to be just the 2 of us again...but, what did I manage to do at dinner a few times....CRY! UGH!! I hate this! I'm sad thinking that Faith is REALLY going to miss her daddy and not understand. I'm sad that Chandler won't remember him other than a DVD and a picture. I'm sad that next year I'll be spending my anniversary without him. I'm sad that we have to sell our house, that I am closing my doors on my business in Pensacola as of June 1st. I'm sad that Falyn DOES understand and has started asking everyday if he's gone yet. Poor baby girl! I'm just SAD!
On a happy note, we had a really great evening, and like I said, it was nice to just be the 2 of us again, especially at dinner. Those of you with kids know exactly what I mean.
Anyway, I know I've said it before, but kiss your babies and hold on tight to your husband/wife, life is too short.

Pray for my baby girl.
The "nu nu fairy" came last night and took all of Faith's nu nu's in exchange for a cool new present. But she's having withdrawls, so say a little prayer for her that she'll get thru this ok. We're doing what we can to help her, but it's HARD!!
I feel like the meanest mommy in the world, but it's time for the paci to go. She's been potty trained for over 3 months now, so this is her last attachment to being a "baby". :(

Good & Bad News
A new list came out today. The bad news...he's still on it. The good news...he doesn't leave until May 1st. That IS good news right? I mean, yea he still has to leave, but at least we get a little more time. At least he'll be here for our anniversary and my birthday.

...the rest
Ok...now I think I can finish. As of right now Justin is due to leave March 19th...2 days before our 7th anniversary. :( I am going to sell my beautiful little house here in Pensacola, and move to Houston. I have my mom checking on a few houses that are about 20 mins from her and Laurie, but still in the Cy-Fair school district (only the best for my babies!). We tried to explain it a little to Falyn at dinner the other night, but I am not sure she really got it. I guess the more we tell her it is going to happen the more it may sink in?
For now, we are just living each day to the fullest, and trying to enjoy our family as it is right here and now, and live in the moment. Have you ever stopped your high paced life and taken it minute by minute? It's amazing how much more you realize about life when you live it minute to minute instead of day to day. Somehow your child's laugh is just a little cuter, your babies coo and smile is just a little happier. I could just sit and gaze at my girls in play all day. I digress.
We leave for Orlando next Monday and will be there till the 17th. This is Falyn's spring break, and we are surprising them with a trip to Nickelodeon. I can't wait to see their faces when we arrive!! :)
So anyway, keep all of us in your prayers. We need them right now.

Heavy Heart
With the heaviest of hearts, I write this post. I've hesitated to write it, b/c I wanted to make 100% sure that it was a fact before I went and told everyone.
Justin is being sent to Iraq, for one year....and he leaves in 20 days.
You name the emotion, I have felt it. First it was yes, then it was no, and now it's a final yes. Look at your children, and then think really hard about what you would say to them if you were in this situation. I am at a loss for words. I have NO idea how to explain to Falyn and Faith that the daddy they SO adore will be leaving them, and help them understand why. I look at my son...my innocent baby boy who is just learning who we all are, and try to figure out how I am going to help him remember his daddy. If they were telling me it was for 6 months, I would be a little better. I've done that, and while it was hard, I could do it again. But a YEAR?!?! 365 days? 12 months? How do you wrap your mind around that? How do you look at your life and think of how it will be in one year? Look at your children...one year from now...Falyn will be in First grade, Faith in PreK3, Chandler....walking....
(I'll be back...can't finish this right now)
