Merry Christmas!

It was a very fun and exciting morning here!! I can't even explain how happy the kids were. I'll just let the photos and video tell it all!

Merry Christmas everyone! We all love you and hope that you're celebrating in the joy of Christ's birth.

Thank you Uncle BJ & Aunt Jenn!!

He's obsessed and literally JUMPED out of my arms when he saw his "McQueen Jeep"....he calls it a Jeep, b/c of Falyn's Barbie Jeep. LOL

And some video excitement! :)

Merry Christmas!!!

What did Santa bring you??

Merry Christmas Eve!

We are home and WARM from our fabulous vacation in Big Bear. I do believe that the kids had a blast. Both of the girls attended ski school, and by the second day, Faith was skiing down the hill all on her own with no fear. Falyn, she much rather enjoyed ski school and spent most of the week there, and Chandler skied with me and LOVED it! At the bottom of every run he'd say "let's do it again mommy!" LOL By day 2 Justin really got the hang on boarding and you'd have thought he knew what he was doing! I was really proud of him! His rear suffered just a little, but I think he's recovering. ;)

Ready for "Little Bear School"

It was COLD....Falyn was over it! LOL

Chandler turned 3 on Monday (how is that possible?) and we baked him a yummy chocolate cake. We also received word that day that he will share his b-day with his baby cousin. My little brother BJ & "sis" Jenn welcomed Brylee Jade into the world at 3:23pm and she is just GORGEOUS! I'm heart broken, that I am so far away and can't be there to snuggle her and hug them, but so very happy for them!! Happy Birthday Chandler and Brylee, we love you!!

The beautiful Miss Brylee Jade! Of course, I am bias, but she's simply gorgeous!

Ski Video

Here's some video, will try and upload more later! :)

Let the journey begin.....

My poor baby is in for a HEAP of dental/orthodontic work, and we began the process yesterday. She had SIX, yes SIX of her baby teeth pulled yesterday to make room for her adult teeth coming in that had no where to go. All 4 of her "eye" teeth and the two inside the top eye teeth. What a TROOPER she was!! Went in so brave, and then when her inhibitions were down and was coming out of the anesthesia, she was a MESS. But she did really well, and we're very proud of her! Now we wait 3 months for those teeth to start filling in, and the next steps are a jaw spacer and nighttime headgear. Oy! Poor thing!! She'll thank me in high school right?? LOL Here's some before and after pics!

Before:

In recovery...I lost it when I saw her like this.

After:....a little doped up on pain meds.

Holidays on Horton Plaza

So, I know this will make Angie & Venus miss me and hurry and come back to San Diego! LOL Last night was the tree lighting downtown outside of the NBC building and Horton Plaza (the outdoor mall I have taken you all to!) Our neighbors and their babies and our crew all headed out there last night to see Mickey and Minnie Mouse and the "snow" as well as the tree lighting. Good times!

Now that Justin is home I can post pictures! I know many of you have been following along with my weight loss effort, and I can finally show you photos without giving the surprise away to Justin. Now....I need to get some more updated photos, b/c I am officially over the 40lbs off mark, but these will do for now.

Thanks to everyone's well wishes!  We are enjoying being a family again.  I didn't take photos at the pier, as I had an OpLove photographer there, so as soon as she posts the pics, I will let you know!!

TOMORROW!!!!!!!

This time tomorrow, we will be getting ready to go pick up Justin from the ship!!  YAY!!!  I swear this 6 months has seemed SO much longer than all of last year, but I have to thank my family for last year and I believe that being around you just made time fly by!  Even tho I have tried to keep us busy, and made friends that have also helped keep us busy....it's just seemed SO much longer.  Who knows why, maybe b/c we have spent so much time apart.....but it's OVER!!!  He will be in our arms tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!  We have a very nice and much needed, family vacation to Big Bear planned for Christmas, along with Patty and Emma coming to play too.

Tomorrow is also Thanksgiving for the Geigley family, as we had no one to celebrate with, we kept the festivities off until we are all together again, when it really matters.

Miss you all, and love you!!
Gina :)

President Elect Obama

There is no denying that I am truly disappointed in the outcome of this election and fearful of the outcome. I am not convinced that this election was not won because of and not despite of race. However, the people have spoken and the choice has been made. My prayers will be that President Elect Obama does NOT increase taxes, does NOT pull out of Iraq prematurely and that he does NOT move our country into a socialist society. I will support our President, as I always do. I may not agree with him, but I will respect him. Senator McCain's concession speech was one more example of the honorable man that he is and I would hope that everyone gives him the kudos he so richly deserves. Conservative Americans need to stay strong in their convictions yet reach across and work with President Elect Obama and pray for him and for the leadership we have just put in office.

Obama gave an eloquent acceptance speech and I pray that he spoke truthfully. We have to ban together and I hope that Obama will follow through on his word that he will reach across the aisles and work together as we are all Americans. Interestingly, I noted that he said that he will have false starts and people won't always agree with how he is doing things, but that he will always work for the people. Too bad the same people cheering him on haven't shown the same respect to President Bush.

I will support Obama as our President and hope that Ronald Reagan's words echo in his ears.

"You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot help the wage-earner by pulling down the wage-payer. You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves." - Ronald Reagan

God Bless America!

Happy Halloween!!!

A fun day turned into night of parties and candy!! GALORE!!!!! We started off about noon at the girls' school with their school carnival! Games, prizes, sweets, sweets, sweets....oh yea, and FUN!! Then Jeanette and her boys and Falyn's friend Paige and her mom & sister joined us for about 3 street of trick-or-treating before all the kids were D-O-N-E!!

Falyn & Faith were 50's girls...original plan was Chandler to be a Greaser and me a Pink Lady...but well, Chandler saw the Lightening McQueen costume, and that was the end of that cute idea!! LOL Maybe next year since these dresses will still fit them, and daddy will be here to look retarded with us!! :)

Here are some photos of the last week! :)

The school carnival....Falyn was "too cool" for us most of the day. :(

Trick or Treating!
