Playing catch-up! We had the BEST yard for egg hunting!! The Lemons family and Patti, Glenn, Lauren and Summer joined us for dinner and celebrating.

9 Years!

And counting! LOL So we have "tried" to stick to the anniversary "theme" each year, just for fun, when it comes to our gifts to each other...(psst! Next year is diamond!! whoot!!)...this year is "pottery, leather, tin, aluminum". Well, when we moved to Houston, my pottery chimnea got CRUSHED. I was so sad!! So, Justin looked everywhere today and didn't find another clay one, but he found a metal one...so that still fits the theme a little right? LOL

Sunday at Sea World!

We took advantage of a beautiful Sunday after church and headed to Sea World!!

A day with Chrissy!

Well, you've seen me blog about her! Falyn's godmother, and one of my best friends from high school! Her husband is also in the Navy, stationed in Lemoore, CA. His parents live here in San Diego, so that means that we will get to see her more often than we have in the last 7 years!! YAY!!! We had a nice day at the park, and chowin' down at Luigi's for lunch! (yum!) It was great to finally meet her babies too, and now she has #3 on the way!! Can't wait to do it again!!

We're in!! OMG!!

So, we can't get too attached to this house...they called us to get into housing ALREADY!!! HOLY MOLY!! So, they told us we were first in line after the top 10%...the next week, I check our status online...we are #4 PEOPLE!! Mind you, this is about 4 days after moved into this house!! LORD!! So, we thought a month at least, right? WRONG!!!!! They called us on Monday, gave us an address...and said we had 24 hours to accept! ARE YOU KIDDING??? YES!!! We should have just stayed at Jebbye's and paid her rent!! So, our NEW move-in date is now March 25th! We will be out in the neighborhood of Pacific Beach. From the end of our street, we will be able to watch the fireworks at Sea World...yes, just about FIVE houses to the end of the block and watch the fireworks over Mission Bay. (ok, I know I am killing Angie now, so I will stop)....just trying to draw her back out here!! LOL Here's our little (bigger than where we are now) 4 bd in Admiral Hartman! Someone still lives there, so we couldn't see the inside, but I checked it out on Google Earth, and since it's on the "bend" of the street, we got the bigger back yard...not quite what we have here (or close to what Ang had on NASNI), but it will do! The girls can ride their bikes!! YAY!! Anyway...come visit whenever you want!! That is ALWAYS an open invitation!!!

Romo's First Haircut!

I found a great little groomer right down the street, Petco wouldn't even give him a chance! They said that he was too young!! Rude!! These ladies were great, and of course, loved him! They even said that he was falling asleep during it!! Whatever, he's too young! :P He looks SOOO different!! I know Jenn can appreciate the "sadness" of his puppy color being gone!! I have to admit, I was a little shocked at the change, but he's SO stinkin' adorable!! We're now just hoping he grows into his ears! LOL



Love ya! Off to spend the day down at Mission Bay...with the beautiful green grass and ocean breezes....jealous yet?? Oh yea, and I think the high is in the hi 60s, low 70s!! neener, neener, neener!!!

Oh yea, and I stole this pic from Jebbye's blog...this is when we were staying with them, Jason snagged this pic of the 3 of them (Jeb, Faith and Chandler) chillin' with a juice box!

Our Cute House

This is SUCH a cute house! We really like it, there are things of course that we aren't crazy about, but it will do until we get into housing....which by the way, we found out yesterday that we are now #4 on the list...so needless to say, I am DONE unpacking!! I have now moved on to "organizing" and if it's still in a box, well, it can just stay there for another month, unless I REALLY need it!!

Anyway, back to the house. Per all the requests, here are pics! It really is adorable and has a lot of charm...but things I miss...kids can't ride their bikes out front, no dishwasher (ick!), wash and dry clothes on the back porch...things I can only deal with for a SHORT time!! LOL

Road Trip!

Here's some photos from last week as we made our way to San Diego!

Our first stop was in Albuquerque to meet up with one of my "preggo buddies". Heidi and I have known each other since 2000 when we were both pregnant with our oldest (ok her only!), have spoken on the phone, but haven't ever met in person till this trip. We met via a preggo forum on iVillage.com and have a buddy group of 10 whom we have maintained contact for over 7 years! They are my girlies, and I love them!! We figured that a good place to take all the kids was Chuck E Cheese...2 days in the car, and it was the perfect fit!! We had a blast meeting Solana and chatting with Heidi! Love ya girls!!





From ABQ to GORGEOUS Flagstaff, AZ!! What a BLAST we had there! We spent 2 days and played in the snow, went to the Grand Canyon...just a BLAST!! The kids had never seen snow before and LOVED it! I will post some video too!!

We're here!!! YAY!!!

We made it to San Diego on Saturday! Been trying to find a place to live ever since! Our friends, Jebbye and Jason have been awesome enough to open up their home to us and cause mad chaos with our 5 combined children!! LOL We've have a few appointments today to view homes, so wish us luck!

It's so awesome to be back here. I've really missed it!!

yesterday to find snowboots for the kids! What kind of ski town has
Spring clothes out already?? Oy! Today will be fun when we head up
to the snowbowl to play!
